The Northumbria Club provides an opportunity for those with a Northumbrian background or interest in Northumbria to meet socially. Meetings are held at least four times a year at venues including the Army and Navy Club. Click here for membership costs and application.

Among many fascinating speakers to the Club, recent examples include Professor Peter Styles on Climate Change and Energy; Sally O'Neill, Deputy Treasurer to Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II; Professor Thomas Otte on Viscount (Edward) Grey of Fallodon; Dr Lesley Milner on The After-Life of St Cuthbert; Pippa Lines on the Great North Air Ambulance Service; and Christopher Hunwick, the current archivist at Alnwick Castle and Syon House.
